Abstract

The aerospace industry is currently miniaturizing its bulky electronic systems by integrating multiple systems on a single chip or package using advanced System-on-Chip (SoC) and System in-Package (SiP) technologies. This trend, which is also observed in applications such as industrial automation and control systems, aims to enhance efficiency, performance, and reliability while reducing cost, size, weight, and power consumption (CoSWaP). However, the SoC/SiP design process remains challenging and time-consuming, requiring frequent and tedious interactions with circuit simulators to ensure that the resulting systems are reliable and efficient.

Résumé

L'industrie aérospatiale miniaturise ses systèmes électroniques volumineux en intégrant plusieurs systèmes sur une seule puce ou dans seul boîtier grâce aux technologies avancées de systèmes sur puces (System-on-Chip - SoC) et de systèmes dans un boitier (System-in-Package - SiP). Cette tendance, également observée dans des applications telles que l’automatisation et les systèmes de commande industriels, vise à améliorer l’efficacité, les performances et la fiabilité, tout en réduisant le coût, la taille, le poids et la consommation d’énergie (cost, size, weight, and power -CoSWaP). Cependant, le processus de conception des SoC/SiP demeure complexe et chronophage, nécessitant des interactions fréquentes et laborieuses avec les simulateurs de circuits pour garantir un système fiable et efficace.
