Résumé
Eco-design is a strategic approach to product development that aims to minimize the environmental impacts of a product throughout its life cycle. It involves considering various technical, environmental, social, and economic aspects in the early stages of product design. This leads to a multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) problem that requires efficient and effective optimization methods to find the best design alternatives. In this research, we review the existing literature on the application of learning-based optimization methods to eco-design problems. We discuss the advantages and challenges of using these methods for eco-design, and provide some examples of complex products that have been designed using learning-based optimization and value-driven methods. We also identify some future research directions and open issues in this field.
