Abstract
This file contains the Python code used for running the simulations in the article "SSELF: A Specific SEmiautomated Lifecycle Footprinting framework to go beyond generic data in LCA".
This script simulates a network of companies exchanging goods and updates their carbon footprints based on their direct and indirect emissions. The simulation covers the creation of companies, calculation of carbon footprints, and iterative updates to reflect changes in supply chain emissions data until the footprints converge to a final value. Ranges for company GHG emissions per $ sold and profit margins (dataframes "supply", "margins" and "emissions") are taken from the Canadian physical flow account and supply and use tables for 2019.
